That is definitely different. When you say game(s) is this referring only to FB games (or web-based in general) or does this include programs you installed from disk etc? I'm already suspecting a video card (or internal as the case may be) but if it is only web-based then that narrows it a bit and could still be a software issue. Changing from AC to battery might lead one to think in other directions but this is definitely different. I would take the time to download and install Bit Pro from the downloads section and run that testing the RAM and CPU as well as graphics. If you need any help with that let me know. Please check back in when you can. Thanks!

CPUID will tell you if you're getting temp. spikes and/or if your system is running hot in general. Pay attention to the GPU temps listed in there and post SS of what it sees. BitPro - same. RAM/CPU/Graphics. All might have an indication. Still it's a bit unusual but let's see if we can figure this out!

OK So... I would have CPUID HW Monitor up and watch the temps while in-game and when this happens. Then I'd want to see if you get out of the game, and start Burn In Test using just the parameters shown below. Look for errors in the Burn In tests and watch the temps in the HW monitor as well and maybe post them here. This might give us a clue but remember this is a weird thing and it could possibly be the mb/pb is reacting in a bad way.

I would also wonder what happens if the battery is out (make sure it's turned OFF lol), and what happens if there is no AC plugged in.
