THE INTERNET DEFENSE LEAGUE

This relatively new entity has no intention of allowing the Internet or anyone who uses it to become a victim of senseless or haphazard control without putting up a “Fight for the Future” Perhaps you might remember the Internet Blackout that occurred in January, which was successful in the attempt to stop SOPA and PIPA. Although both U.S. Government measures had some level of good intent, the overall actions were recognized world-wide as also having far-reaching negative potential and the blackout (which included Wikipedia) ensued. The mission of the Internet Defense League is quite simple: to prepare for any such further actions by readying an even more effective tool which would include a far larger contingent of willful participants to make it common knowledge that the Internet itself will protest.
